I'm a few weeks behind but in the process of catching up!
Captions:
This is Rian (ree-in).
On the outside, Rian looks like your average 8-year-old kid... except - he’s got two fruit-bearing branches growing out of his head.
On the inside, he is timid, well-mannered, and obedient to his parents.
What he wants most is to live a normal life, like a normal kid.
What stops him from getting what he wants is his parents, who take advantage of his gift to grow fruit.
What he needs to learn is his gifts don’t define his worth.
