FAQs

Q

Who owns my story reel and work created in the program?

A

You do! Users own 100% of what they create in the program.

Q

Why can’t I see all submissions in the Gallery?

A

You need to comment on 4 peer submissions before the Gallery pages will unlock for you to view.

Q

I’m encountering issues joining discord and why should I join?

A

Email help@storyxperiential.com for assistance. The discord channel is a fun, collaborative community of participants who share their work, ask and answer each other’s questions and provide feedback on each other’s work. It’s optional to join and not required.

Q

If I “Ask Pixar” in the Community / Atrium page, will someone from Pixar really answer?

A

Yes, your question will be answered by a Pixar Artist.  The XP team collaborates with Pixar to get your question answered by one of our guest Artists.

Q

How do I easily find my submissions and the feedback I’ve given to other participants?

A

Go to your My Account page.

Q

How do I change my email/account information?

A

If you are participating solo, you can make those changes from the My Account page. If you are participating in a group, email the facilitator of your account, or reach out to the XP team at: help@storyxperiential.com

Q

Can I change my team?

A

Yes, you can change teams at any time during the program.  If you know the facilitator of your group, email them with your request. You can also reach out to the XP team at: help@storyxperiential.com

Q

Can I change my submission after an upload?

A

Yes. After you’ve submitted an upload, the submission 'upload' button becomes an 'edit' button. Clicking it will take you to a page where you can make any edits: replace the video, change the title or description, or thumbnail.

Q

Can I upload late?

A

Yes! Don’t worry if you are behind. That is normal and it’s okay to submit late. Just be sure to upload your work-in-progress to take advantage of receiving feedback. Remember, it is much better to upload something partially done,  than waiting to upload something perfect.

Q

Where do I upload my deliverable?

A

Scroll to the very bottom of the Week page and you will see ‘upload your submission’. If you are submitting late, be sure to go to the corresponding Week for that deliverable to and upload your submission.
