Doodie is living happily on the farm with his parents. Until his newborn sister Dana comes along, and his parents' attention shift towards her, and slightly neglect Doodie. Frustrated, Doodie goes outside and finds a magical feather, that grants wishes. And he wishes for his sister to disappear!

To his dismay, Dana transforms into a chicken overnight! Overwhelmed, scared, and confused, Doodie panics and picks her up, trying to figure out how to bring her back. None of his parents realize that this chicken is his sister. While Doodie chases his chicken sister outside, his father finds fancy to it and decides to cook it for dinner. As the father takes to the kitchen, Doodie kidnaps the chicken again and hides in the chicken coop, desperate and confused.

Dana the chicken pokes her brother, as feathers fall off of her. This reminds Doodie of the magical feather! He runs back into the house to find the feather he had wished upon the previous night, and makes a new wish for his sister to come back. Shortly afterwards, Doodie hears his baby sister's crying again, and jumps out of excitement; his sister is back!

He rushes back downstairs, and hugs his crying sister, while the magical feather burns and disappears; its job is done. Ever since then, Doodie had grown fondly of his sister, and enjoys being a big brother to her.
