A small dog is seen sneaking out a backdoor from a building. She wanders in the rain alone and scared, until a young girl finds her. The girl was named Jill and decided to take the young pup home and name it Gigi.

While they were both socializing at the park, Gigi spotted a stray cat nearby and gave chase.

The cat managed to run up a tree and Gigi began to try to climb it. As Gigi struggled to climb the tree, a cloud of smoke began to erupt out of her body and engulfed her.

Both Jill and the cat were in shock at what happened. Once the figure appeared out of the smoke, it looked half dog and half human. When it was on the branch, it was a human girl.

Life became more exciting for them. Despite Gigi not being able to learn speech, Jill was able to teach her how to use the phone to take photos. Especially selfies!

However, things between them soon began to sour. Despite the appearance of a human girl, Gigi would still act like a dog. Public embarrassment was a recurrence every time Gigi poofed back into a human girl and started acting crazy!

Gigi noticed how unhappy Jill was and would try to cheer her up. But Jill would just ignore her or leave the room. Jill became so fed up that she shouted,

“I’m tired of being seen with you! Leave me alone already!”

Gigi tried to practice in the mirror to transform at will because she believed it would make Jill happy, but unfortunately she wasn’t able to.

While Gigi slept, she dreamed about being trapped in a cage with all her siblings.

All the walls were covered with posters of dogs, but the one that caught her attention the most was a regular dog standing next to a bigger and stronger dog with a cape. With bold letters saying super dog.

A scientist soon appeared and grabbed Gigi by the scruff of her neck and took her to a table. There she could see many types of surgical tools, but what scared her most was the large needle. Gigi could see a gloved hand pick up the syringe but woke up and saw that she had turned human when she was sleeping.

It was at that moment Gigi knew what she had to do. She took Jill’s phone and left in the middle of the night. As Gigi found her way back to the building she escaped from, she went inside using Jill’s phone as a flashlight.

She saw many dogs trapped in cages and started to take photos. Once she was done, Gigi was about to open a cage when a door slammed open. It frightened Gigi so much that she poofed back into a puppy.

The scientist in Gigi’s nightmare had heard someone was inside and went to investigate.

“Who’s there! Show yourself!”

He saw it was Gigi and immediately put her inside the cage with the other captive dogs. Unknown to him, he didn’t see Jill’s phone was on the floor with a message on screen that something was being sent.

The next morning, Jill noticed Gigi was missing. She tried looking for her at the dog park and asked anyone if they saw Gigi. She even started putting up flyers in the neighborhood.

But she soon found out that Gigi was part of an experiment to create dogs with superpowers, when she turned on the news.

In end, Jill was happy to have Gigi back in her life
