Once upon a time there was a man named Stewie. Stewie was a quiet but confident man who met a woman named Kylie one evening at a bar. Kylie is popular twitch streamer who goes by the username Demon Darling. The two quickly bond over their shared nerdy interests and start going on dates. Their relationship starts off very strong and passionate, a constant chase between Stewie and Kylie. As time passes however, Stewie starts feeling neglect from Kylie. She acts less and less like herself the more time goes on, and she starts getting addicted to recreational substances as she blocks Stewie further and further out of her life. This neglect eventually turns into mental and even physical abuse. Stewie however, is willing to look past all of this because Kylie shows him kindness every now and then to make sure he does not leave. Stewie focuses on these highlights of sweetness, even as things get worse and worse, concinving himself that Kylie just needs his help and that she is his responsibility to take care of. Kylie reaches the breaking point of her sanity when she tries to stab her hopeless lover. Stewie is much smaller and frailer than Kylie, so he has no choice but to run. He is chased all throughout their huge house Kylie bought for the two of them through her career. Stewie runs and runs and eventually hides inside her office. Her office absolutely wrecked. Stewie sees a door he's never seen before, and he discovers it's hidden gateway to another world full of mortifying delights.


Stewie steps through the door and basks in the view of creatures unlike anything he has ever seen. Not really having any other choice but to go forward since Kylie was in the house, and out of pure curiosity, he proceeds. Stewie finds art and engravings on the walls showing that Kylie has been traveling to this reality on the regular. She's carved her own home inside of it. Stewie finds a note written in her hide out that reads "Only through pure self interest can you accend. Let the rivers flow once again, only then will you find beauty". Stewie puts the pieces together and realizes that he has been treated so terribly because Kylie wants to "grow more power" by making him feel smaller and smaller, although he's not sure what "more power" exactly entails for her. This discovery breaks Stewie, but he convinces himself that it is his responsibility to save her from this darkness. This thought is cut short after Stewie turns around to find Kylie lunging at him with half of her face melted off. No time to think about saving her, Stewie runs away yet again. Kylie sends the nightmarish entities after him. Her skin is slowly turning into a dark red blobish substance that looks distinctly different from human blood. Stewie runs and runs from the creatures until he falls down a hole into the abyss.

Stewie finds himself surrounded by 6 projectors. These projectors are a sort of manifestation of Kylie's memories, as each of them shows a different scene showing how Kylie came across this reality to begin with. It's left a bit vague for future stories, but from what is shown, on a depressing and rainy night, Kylie tastes a drop of a red liquid that shows her infinite possibilities of what can be taken from this other plain of existence. Colors never seen with the human eye, power beyond anything we can even comprehend. All of it achieved through acts of selfishness. Stewie finally realizes the truth, that Kylie is not a victim at all, and his desire to care for her will forever hurt him. He then hears a call from the darkness as all the projectors shut off. It's Kylie. In her madness she is no longer recognizable, a twisted result of trying to collide two realities together, her eyes and mouth are photorealistic as they are not from her reality, but the rest of her body is a messy mush of weird substances. Stewie discovers a blade on the floor. Kylie reaches out to Stewie, but she gets stabbed in the hand. Her body morphs into the walls around her, surrounding Stewie. Although he tries to fight back, he is ultimately pierced through the heart by her darkness. Nevertheless, as Stewie begins to go limp, he dies with a smile on his face, as for the first time in years his actions were not dictated by her, he chose to defy her, he looked out for himself, he died a free man.
