what if a pegasus and a hippocampus or seahorse became friends? this question is the foundation that sparked this story. My story is similar to that of a loose documentary that focuses around animal interaction. Only these animals are mythical horses from Greek mythology. This story is also based around the fast and short friendships that kids make while on vacation. A vacation is a short time that kids spend playing.When kids make friends while on vacation, it is a short but happy time. But when the vacation is over and it is time to part, it is rare thing for a quick friendship to endure a large gap of time, but when it does, new friends become old friends.

The main character Hippo and his new friend Lulu are horse like animals that may be different in terms of physical appearance and family life but share one big thing in coming their love to play.

Once upon a time in a distant crystalline ocean. There lived a pod of beautiful and elegant sea creatures known as hippocampus. Among them is the youngest member of the pod Hippo. Hippo is a happy go lucky young hippocampus who loves to play. Although his fun and games aren’t as much fun without a friend to share it with.
Every year the pod makes their long and annual trip towards a secret Island where they were born to rest and recuperate after a year's worth of swimming. They share this island with a neighboring herd of pegasus who share the same migratory route.
One day as the pod ventures closer to the Island, they happen to meet up with the migratory herd along their route. Hippo notices the youngest member of the Pegasus, named Lulu, traveling with the herd. He is intrigued by her. She gets distracted and flies into a flock of seagulls. She ends up falling into the Ocean. Hippo goes to rescue her.
Because hippo saved Lulu and he hadn't had any friends his own age, the two became fast friends. However Lulu’s father, Nicodemus gets in the way of their fun..

Because Nicodemus thinks Lulu is in danger, he chases and scares Hippo away.

Years pass, Hippo and Lulu reunite as grown ups and ever since then the two friends continue to make the most of their time together.

The moral of the story: friends may come and go in life but neither time nor distance can ever keep true friends apart.
