I had some issues come up so it's not as polished as I would like but I still quite like it and I hope you do too!

"(Narration by G): Every town has a legend, witches, demons, ghosts, bla, bla, bla... Well, here's how my town's legend came to be, long, long ago, a talisman appeared, no one quite knows how, or why it got here, but it is prophesied to pick a hero that will defeat a great evil. Now, the evil hasn't appeared yet, but I've trained all my life to be the legend's hero so I'm sure it'll appear by the time the talisman picks me.

(Narration by G): Oh the talisman, I love going to see it, I can't reach it, no one can but I know one day it'll come on down and-

(G): Who are you?

(Cole): Hi, I'm Cole.

(G): O...kay?

(Cole): I'm new, my neighbour told me a legend and I wanted to check it out.

(G): Oh, you mean the talisman, yeah it's-

(Cole): Wow, cool.

(Cole): Are you okay?

(G): No, I'm not okay! It was supposed to be me, I worked so hard, it's gotta be me... Why isn't it me?

(Cole): Look... Person, I don't really know what to say, I'm sorry, I- I think I should go."


"(G): Nothing? Again? Where is it?! You picked someone but there's nothing?

(Cole): There you are...

(G): You!

(Cole): Yeah, I hd to come for that, I don't think you should have taken it.

(G): You're not taking this from me, I've done all the work, you can't just appear out of nowhere and take it, it's not fair!

(Cole): Hey, I get it, it must be really hard.

(G): But you don't get it, this is all I have, all I've ever had, and I'm not letting go.

(Cole): Um, I think the talisman is doing something, maybe you should take it off.

(G): Ha! You would like tyhat wouldn't you? Well tough luck, I'm gonna wear it and I'll be the best hero ever.

(Cole): Look, I don't think it's good for you.

(G): You're right, it's not good, it's great, it'll help me defeat the great evil and then finally everyone will know I'm not a failure, or a loser, I'm a hero!

(Cole): I know things can be hard, but you can do better! You don't need this, you-

(G): Stop! Stop talking about things you know nothing about, stop trying to take back the talisman, and stop pretending like you care!
