Hi everybody! This is my final product and despite some shortcomings in some scenes, im really proud of what ive achieved! Im going to add the stoyspine below and after that i will include some extra info!

Storyspine:
-There once was a college student named Vincent who internally longed for a bond with others despite giving up on it.
-Every day he lived his life monotonously with little to no contact with others, even though he recently gained powers and thought his life could change, his powers turned out to be deceit...
-Until one day as he was out at night, he saw a child being targeted by a big ominous monster...
-Because of that despite hesitating he rushed in to save the child and fight the monster as the child fled..
-Because of that Vincent was fighting the monster but since his powers couldnt fully activate he was losing the fight, but the child who was witnessing everything believed in him and thus when Vincent noticed he started believing in himself..
-Because of that his powers activated and he was about to win the fight but the monster escaped, leaving Vincent feeling utterly frustrated that he couldnt do anything right..
-Until finally he realized that the child he saved saw all the good he had inside instead of what he lacked and fully accepted and supported him...
-And ever since then the two became friends andsupported each other in adventures yet to come...

Few pointers for anyone confused:
-Vincent's power is to have any kind of power as long as he makes people BELIEVE he truly does, thats why he shows some ppl a video of "him flying" (he just edited a video the day before) and once some people believed the lie he could start floating, but the intensity of his powers depends on the amount of belief he gets, aka if he a low self steem person were to believe in himself, he would be so strong but alas.. thats not the case.

-The montage at the start shows that something happened worldwide and people ended up getting superpowers but there was also some entities that were bred from that event. I tried to do as less explaining as possible cause SHOW DONT TELL plus i gotta hook people with something right? right???

-Both the shadow monster and the kiddo are not "normal" entities on Earth even despite the event that happened

-The story takes place 2-3 months after the beginning montage

-I wanted the kid to have a deep voice or a man gremlin voice (like danny devito) but it would have ruined the last moment and thus was discarded

-Leslie Mariel is the voice of the child! Go look at her project next, shes a really talented illustrator and now i guess voice actress???

-The suspense scene i put midway through was because originally one of my what ifs was a horror setting ("What if all your memories were made up"), it didnt get chosen for the storyreel and part of me still wanted to do a little horror haha even though im not sure if i pulled it off right.

-Sound effects and music are from freesound.org, Youtube Audio Gallery and Youtube user Brand Name Audio!

-As a little thanks to Leslie i added her fireflies in the ending card, hope you can spot them!

-Most minor beats were improvised as i recorded my lines (since i dont normally have time/space/privacy to record lines i did it all in a hurry and recorded even stuff i didnt use just in case. Afterwards i would just pick my favorite dialogues and build the storyboard from that.

-I wanted to remove the letterbox as Vincent was crying in the end, to show that he somehow expanded his horizons but due to time and skill i didnt do it, even so im still happy the end card is full screen and full of color, i tried to make it really contrast with the rest of the story and *cough* the title card*cough* haha

-In my attempt to create a flying bully i ended up creating Sephiroth without realizing... and i dont even play Final Fantasy...

-The main reason the montage at the start exists is because i really wanted to use Ode to Joy !!! haha
