Meera works in her family’s bakery, a bakery opened years before her time, in honour of one of her Ancestors. It’s soon to be her 18th birthday and as tradition has it for the women in the family, she is next in line to take over the business from her Aunt Chhaya. However, Meera would much rather be doing what she loves - painting - and she is dreading the day she has to give it all up.
