Once upon a time a man named WALDO.
WALDO and MARY meet at college.
WALDO is shy, MARY cheerful and friendly.
MARY is attracted to WALDO, who is silly when he is around her.
They enjoy doing things together (biking, studying, picnicking, laughing together, walking hand in hand).
They fall in love and get married.
They built their house, with a nice garden.
WALDO builds the fence.
Both plant a tree that MARY received as a gift.
MARY shows signs of a lung disease that hasn't a cure yet.
The TREE grows.
WALDO watches when MARY hugs the TREE from time to time, for several minutes.
They decide not to have children.
MARY can't get too agitated.
Anyway they are very happy with each other.
WALDO wants to dance and socialize more when MARY gets better.
WALDO ignores a lot about gardening and trees.
But he supports MARY with the garden.
She is happy there.
Over time, MARY has constant episodes of coughing.
After some years, MARY lost their battle, WALDO was left alone.
Every day WALDO feels comfortable with his WORK–HOME routine. .
He feels anxiety meeting other people.
WALDO tries to fix the garden, but he doesn't know how.
He gets frustrated.
The tree is radiant.
WALDO, still in mourning.
Seeing people near the tree where he saw MARY happy, he gets upset, it hurts.
A couple leaves their car under the tree, when they return WALDO cuts the leaves on that side.
The tree made an angry face.
Until one day, WALDO decides to cut all his branches.
But when he gets closer, the tree wakes up and tells him: Enough!
He moves his branches like arms, and with a flash, the tree turns WALDO into a bird.
Confused, WALDO, try to ask for help.
People see him as an annoying bird.
WALDO does not understand why this has happened to him.
He thinks of the ax in his hand, and remembers the angry face of the tree.
As he looks at his legs and feathers with wide eyes, WALDO is in shock!
The tree is asleep, smiling. WALDO can now see his face.
He ignores WALDO's claims.
He seeks shelter, he has tried to enter the house, under the door and hitting the window, to get inside.
The house is completely closed.
He eats a few strawberries from his garden, he regrets not having learned to improve it to feed himself better.
He remembers MARY and gets sad.
In the midst of his melancholy, his cat has his sights set on him .
WALDO flies foolishly and quickly to the window.
Panicking and frightened, he leans against the window ledge.
The cat looks at him for a moment, and leaves.
WALDO returns to the tree, observes the families that inhabit the place, a whole neighborhood there.
He is strange to them.
He tries to eat the same as everyone else.
WALDO Makes weird faces when trying this new food.
He has bruises, he has hit himself several times trying to control his flight, they laugh at him.
A new neighbor sees WALDO curiously, outside her window, she gives him apple pieces to eat.
WALDO would rather eat this than eat an ugly bug.
Every day, the woman feels happy with WALDO's visit, she talks with him, he listens to her.
He shakes his head at her and he tries to talk to her, she smiles.
They warn him not to trust humans too much, they catch birds or hurt them.
WALDO is very attentive, suddenly he sees a quickly darkening shadow on a squirrel.
WALDO Jump quickly and push the squirrel out of that spot.
Taking the prey away from him, the falcon gets upset and goes after WALDO.
After dodging it in various ways...
He takes refuge inside the tree, the falcon tries to claw him out!
The Falcon wounded WALDO.
The Falcon hurt WALDO. He feels like dying, he has fallen unconscious.
The animals, seeing WALDO like this, cover him with medicinal leaves and let him rest.
WALDO, feels better but tired, he is afraid of being caught by the falcon.
He wants to return to his quiet life, his "normal" life at home.
WALDO feels that he is trapped in an Endless experience.
The tree, which has constantly observed WALDO, sees him doubting, and then says: "WALDO, come closer..."
The tree confesses to WALDO that: he is a guardian tree of nature, responsible for the balance between living beings.
He prevents men and women from attacking the natural creation and that’s why WALDO was turned into a bird.
His name is MOX, when he uses his powers he weakens and sleeps to renew his energies.
MOX comments to WALDO that MARY had an advanced understanding of plants.
She asked permission to hug the tree and, in this way, she did not make her illness worse.
MOX shows WALDO how everything is interconnected, it is a set.
WALDO feels in peace
He understood that MARY lived longer because MOX healed her every time.
He doesn't hold on to her anymore.
He thanks MOX.
Although he felt a lot of fear with the FALCON, WALDO understood how vulnerable we are as living beings and he also accepted that everything is part of the natural cycle of life.
He feels an incredible satisfaction for having saved the squirrel.
WALDO after a great day, went to sleep.
The night is advanced.
The alarm clock rings loudly, WALDO wakes up surprised to hear it... he's at home, in his bed!
He watches the tree.
He is not sure if it was all real or just a dream.
With his tools, he builds houses for birds in his garden, the birds come to seek refuge, protecting themselves from the hawk's attacks.
These houses attract the attention of his neighbor who loves birds.
The same woman who shared apple slices with WALDO.
WALDO, with more self-confidence, chatted with her, he seems to know a lot about birds!
They work together in the garden that looks radiant again.
WALDO values nature more in his life.
They do a bunch of activities together (picnic in the garden, feed the birds), and at a certain point she teaches him to dance.
Through the window, they are dancing, happy, together.
