Once upon a time, Mehdi was a normal person like all of us. He just completed his graduation. And was looking for a job as a cartoonist.


Every day, his mom and dad complained about the increasing price of daily goods. The business syndicate artificially increased the price by storing the goods. Even, the leaders of the country were helpless in front of them.

Sometime, justice not only delayed, but also ignored.
Crime rates were dramatically increased

Until one day Until one day, he found a 50-year old book. The book described the life of freedom fighters of the country. They fought against one of the strongest army in the world. Despite of mass genocide and oppression, they did not give up.

Strange thing started to happen next. After reading the book, Mehdi started to see the freedom fighters in real world. They told him the war is yet to finish.

People are still suffering. He must do something to save them.

Mehdi told the fighters that he did not have any superpower to do that. He is alone and weak.

They told him he has a special super power- drawing. He can influence people to be aware about their rights as a citizen of the country.

Mehdi started to draw to make people aware about their rights. He drew graffiti, comic strips and graphic novel,

The illustrations went viral through the social media.

People started to talk about the cartoons done by him. They became vocal to solve the problems of the country.

People started to protest and mass gatherings were seen. People were holding playcards, banners with the cartoons.

Thus, Mehdi grew some enemies against him. Especially, a local product-syndicate became active against him.

Mehdi drew cartoons regarding their unethical practic of increasing the price of daily goods.

They influenced some people from the authority to take action against him.

Mehdi got arrested.

The arrest did not help. It ignited the fire of countrywide protest.

A few people in the authority had some heart and guts. When they ordered, Some of the product syndicate mafia refused to decrease the good price.

They brought their own man on the street against the protestors to create chaos and violence.


One night the goons attacked the protestors, injuring many of them.

The Government resigned as it failed to prevent the attack.

The supreme court ordered for a new election and to arrest the syndicate members immediately.

Election is coming. People were now united and conscious about their rights and hopefully choose a right candidate.

What’s about Mehdi? He was released from the prison, went back to his cartoon studio.

The martyred freedom fighters were smiling at him. They told, ‘If people are conscious and know their rights, nobody can defeat them. We did our duty 50 years ago, now it is your turn.”
