It is a story of a father unable to deal with the world around him due to the loss of a son. A boy who is trying to take care of his father and be the grown up around the house, while wishing he could play and be with the brother he loss. And a mystical beast, with a past of her own, who comes across the boy to be come unlikely friends and eventually family.
