Once upon a time there was a 5 year old girl named Pookah. She was athletic, inquisitive, imaginative, witty and the happiest little girl despite often being in a lot of pain because of her cerebral palsy. Pookah loved riding her bike up and down her street with two of her siblings.

Everyday she would fail to keep up with her siblings because one of her training wheels would lift up from the ground, which would slow her down.

Until one day she told her dad that she would like to learn how to ride her bike without training wheels.

Because of that, her dad asked her Physical Therapist could he teach her how to ride her bike without training wheels

Because of that, her Physical Therapist responded no, because of her cerebral palsy(coordination and balance issue) she could get really hurt.

Because of that her dad and no other adult would teach her. But not too long after that she watched her dad teach her little brother.

Until finally six years later, when she was 11 years old, her little brother and younger cousin taught her to ride her bike without training wheels.

And ever since then she hasn’t taken no for an answer.
And ever since then she hasn't let how others see her determine how she sees herself.

The moral of the story is never let anyone else decide what you are capable of.
