"Kree". A firefly who couldn't be able to glow in the dark. The story is about accepting ourselves and loving others for who they really are, no matter how normal or different they could be. "We don't need an external light to shine. The light is inside us, and that's what matters most".
I hope y'all enjoy it :D. I had so much fun during this course. I enjoyed it and learned a lot! :D
(Please read the story spine/description down below to understand it better if you need.).
Storyspine:
Once Upon a Time in a forest at sunset, there was a group of fireflies ready to shine their light in the darkness of the night. All of them except one, Kree. He is a firefly that was never able to shine ever since being a larva.
Every day, Kree sees all the others shine bright and find a partner. Day by day he sees the others with a partner with whom to share their lives which makes Kree feel depressed since he thinks that he will never get noticed by anyone because of his inability to shine like the others.
Until one day, he meets a beautiful blue-lighted firefly named Lúa, needless to say, it was love at first sight.
Because of that, Kree decides to catch her attention! so he tried out different approaches to achieve this, among those. First, he uses fire to get her attention but, she just ignores him.
Because of that, he did joggling to get her attention, one last attempt where Kree gave it his all, but it was meaningless, she didn't notice at all.
Because of that, Kree gets tired and depressed, unable to get noticed by her.
Until finally he fills up with courage and walks to her side, but he realizes that this firefly that had caught his attention, because literally she can't see him. She was blind all along. Kree thought that if she feels his hand on her hand. Maybe she can feel there's someone in front of her. So, When Kree grabbed her hand. She got surprised because she never realized there was someone so close to her.
And ever since then Kree takes her to beautiful sceneries to show her how beautiful is the world that she has missed for all of her life, making her feel happy and loved for who she really is. Kree grabbed her hand to start drawing a flower. To show her what the flowers look like so she can imagine them.
The moral is to accept ourselves, and love others for who they are inside because despite thinking that we are not good at something, we don't realize that the thing that matters the most is the light we have inside just for being ourselves.
