This short film is about our characters fearing what they don't understand, and getting to know what they feared... understanding that monsters don't really exist.
-
Innik is a special Yeti child, who is sensitive and creative. He doesn’t feel like he belongs with the other monster children that live underwater, instead, he spends his time on the surface, drawing a human girl named Uki. One day, they meet, and it changes his world, he finally feels like he belongs.
When Innik finds out about the plan to separate the underwater monster world and the human world, he is torn and feels like he has to go see Uki one more time.
Unfortunately, that is the time the village hunter, who always believed monsters were real, and was ridiculed by the villagers for it, catches Innik and puts him in a cage in his shed, to show the villagers that he was right, and monsters were real.
Uki, who is the hunters’ daughter, releases Innik and they get caught in a terrible storm. The hunter finds out that they are gone, and fears that the monster will harm his daughter, while Innik’s father, the monster city’s mayor, also goes to the surface to find Innik, fearing he will lose him like he lost his wife, by the hands of humans.
The two fathers, who both fear each other, will need to work together to get the two children free from under the ice, and through that, they will see, that you can't tell a monster by appearance.
