Nara, a socially aloof girl, spends most of her days either hidden in books or lost in daydreams. She has no friends, and doesn't make any attempt to connect with her peers. Until one day, a teacher fed-up with her not participating in class sends her to the library. There she comes across a book that seems to glow only for her. Out from the book jumps out a woman who pulls her inside the book too. After landing inside what seems to be a castle, Nara notices that the other woman is indeed a queen. The desperate queen explains how a sorcerer trapped her and her kingdom in the book Nara found. The scene changes and they find themselves in various terrible scenarios until at last they are faced with the sorcerer again. The sorcerer kills the queen as Nara watches aghast. Nara is back in the castle as she is trying to recover from the queen's death when the queen finds her again. The queen explains that they have to live the events of the book again and again. The events of the book start again as Nara comes up with a plan to fight back this time. Nara forms a friendship with the queen. Nara helps the queen defeat the sorcerer as the kingdom and everything in it fades away. She wakes up in the school library disoriented. Nara now a little lonely starts making friends as she tries to forget the queen and their friendship. Then one day as she is hanging out with her friends, the queen appears and takes her and her new friends to visit her newly liberated kingdom.
