Genre: Comedy + Thriller

This story was inspired from my own experiences. I live in a studio apartment and none of the neighbors really know each other. And there was a long period when I really suffered from the noise of one particular neighbor. I wanted to show more backstories in the reel but unfortunately I ran out of time. (Also, I'd like to let you know that the sound effects are all temporary too! I was worried the unfinished sound effects may be more distracting than helpful, but since my story is about noise, it was difficult to exclude sounds altogether.)

Creating this reel was a great challenge for me because every aspect of it was something that I didn't have a lot of experience in. It was challenging, and yes I did take super long to draw each image and consequently ran out of time, but it was also very refreshing and fun!

I'd like to thank everyone who gave me feedback (and also a lot of encouragement!!) along the way. Since this reel ended up being almost a first draft, I definitely hope that I will be able to stay engaged and work on it and refine it in the times to come.

For anyone who is curious, my actual noisy neighbor later turned out to be an Air BnB, which explained the really random and inconsistent noises! For some reason this year the guests are pretty quiet so all is well. And I reacted completely differently from my story reel (just texted my friends about how annoyed I was), so don't worry haha!
