Here is my final submission!
I unfortunately didn't have time to add dialogue or sound to it, but tried my best to imagine how the story beats would play out. I also had to rush a bit at the end, so the climax ended up being a little short. But none the less, I hope you enjoy!
Below is my story spine so you can follow the plot :)

Once upon a time… there was a reclusive young man who had the power to psychically manipulate people’s dreams.

Every day… he helped people tame their bad dreams, which came to life as shadow beasts.

Until one day… there was a dream that he couldn’t tame, and the shadow beast went out of control.

Because of that... the people of the town blamed the young man, and he must now figure out a way to capture and tame the shadow beast.

Because of that... the young man realizes that he can’t do this all by himself, and has to find friends who will help him.

Because of that... he realizes that he can't find the solution to his problem by simply reading books. His new friends have helped him see that the power of trust in one's self and friendship is what's needed in order to defeat your fear.

Until finally... the young man and his friends convince the person who is being controlled by the shadow beat to trust them, and the child finally lets go of their fear, thus taming the giant shadow beast.
